Darrell Smith

Darrell Smith has extensive experience in the insurance industry, serving as a Senior Inland Marine Underwriter at Allied World since March 2015. Prior to this role, Darrell worked for Chubb Insurance from July 2006 to March 2015 as an Inland Marine Underwriter, specializing in various underwriting areas including Builders Risk, Contractors Equipment, and Energy Equipment. Earlier in the career, Darrell was employed at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company from June 1990 to July 2006 as an Inland Marine Underwriter and also held a position as an Insurance Accounting Technician. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, along with General Lines Agents Property and Casualty License and Surplus Lines License obtained from the Texas Department of Insurance in 2009.
