Mark Pomeroy currently serves as the Head of Ceded Re at Allied World, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mark was the Vice President of Ceded Re and Head of Retro at AXIS Capital from January 2020 to September 2023. Mark's extensive experience in the reinsurance industry includes serving as Vice President of Ceded Reinsurance at Assurant from 2013 to 2020, as well as working as a Treaty Reinsurance Underwriter at both American Safety Re from 2006 to 2013 and Platinum Re from 2000 to 2006. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the University of Southampton, which was earned between 1997 and 2000.
