Will Thoms

Will Thoms currently serves as Chair of the Directors & Officers Underwriting Group at IUA since January 2025. Previously, Will has extensive experience at Allied World, holding multiple titles over the years including Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Directors & Officers, and Senior Directors & Officers Underwriter. Prior to that, Will worked at Advent Underwriting Limited as a Marine Hull and War Underwriter and began a career in underwriting at W/R/B Underwriting in various roles related to Marine Hull and Yachts. Will holds a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute and a BA (Hons) in European Politics from the University of Nottingham. Educational background includes attendance at Tonbridge School and Vinehall School.
