Anton Root

Anton Root is the Head of Research at AlliedOffsets, where he focuses on implementing data- and tech-driven finance solutions in emerging markets. Prior to this role, he worked as a Senior Editor at Crowdsourcing.org, writing numerous articles on crowdsourcing and crowdfunding industries. Additionally, Anton served as the Student Programs Coordinator at CyberDissidents.org, examining the role of online activists in the Arab Spring protests. Anton holds a BA in Journalism, Media Criticism, and Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies from New York University, and an MSc in Economics from SOAS University of London.
