Fernando M.

Fernando M. has diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Fernando currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at Allocate since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at First Republic Bank from July 2019 to February 2021.

Fernando also worked at Vistaprint for several years, starting as a Software Engineer Intern in June 2011, where they developed an internal tool for data analysis. Fernando then progressed to various roles, including Software Engineer (I, II, III), Squad Lead / Domain Architect, and Senior Lead Software Engineer at Vistaprint's innovation lab. Throughout their tenure at Vistaprint, Fernando contributed to the development of next-generation products and web applications, managed the innovation process, led architectural decisions, and pioneered testing strategies.

In addition to their industry experience, Fernando also served as an Academic Intern/Senior Project at Bank of America, where they assisted in migrating a financial application to a new framework. Fernando also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Fernando M. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, from 2008 to 2012. In addition, Fernando obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
