Matt Gittlitz

Matt Gittlitz is the current Head of Product at Allocate. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Technical Product Management & Agile Delivery at First Republic Bank from February 2019 to February 2021. In this role, they led modern product delivery capabilities and best practices to design and build experiences that delighted both internal employees and clients.

From November 2015 to February 2019, Gittlitz served as Vice President, Product Management at Gradifi, a Morgan Stanley company. In this role, they drove Gradifi's product vision to be the leader in education wellness benefits. Matt was focused on providing relief for people struggling with student debt whether past (student loans) or future (529 plans) through employer sponsored benefits. Matt also led the software development team in visioning, design, development, and launching new products and features for the Gradifi platform. Additionally, they actively engaged with employers and their employees on improving product usability and testing future features and ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction with Gradifi's products and services.

Prior to their roles at First Republic Bank and Gradifi, Gittlitz served as Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Vistaprint from June 2010 to November 2015.

Matt Gittlitz holds an MBA from Babson College with a focus in finance and entrepreneurship. Matt also holds a BA from Brandeis University in computer science, economics, and international business. In addition, Matt Gittlitz is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master.

Matt Gittlitz reports to Samir Kaji, CEO. They are on a team with John Felix - Director of Research & Diligence, Sarith Demuni - Head of Design & User Experience, and Matt Curtolo - Managing Director, Investments.
