Yaakov Stein

Yaakov Stein is an accomplished technology executive and educator, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Allot since October 2021 and a Committee Member for the Academy of the Hebrew Language, specializing in electronics and telecommunications terminology. With extensive experience in academia, Yaakov has been an Adjunct Lecturer in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University since 1999 and has taught courses at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Previous leadership roles include CTO and Chief Scientist at RAD Data Communications, as well as Chairman of the Board for Neptune - the Israel Consortium for Network Programming. Yaakov's early career involved significant contributions to Comverse and the Israeli Military Intelligence. Yaakov holds a PhD in Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
