Tom Buxton is an experienced professional in the field of hybrid manufacturing and additive manufacturing technologies. Currently serving as the Director of Hybrid Manufacturing and Technical Fellow for AM Components at Alloyed since February 2022, Tom has played a critical role in leading technical initiatives within the company. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Technical Lead in the Electronics Business Unit at Alloyed. Additional experience includes working as an Application Development Engineer at the Digital Manufacturing Centre from June 2021 to February 2022 and as a Mechanical Engineering EID Intern at GE Aviation from July 2018 to July 2019. Tom holds a Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
