Richard Elmore

Rich Elmore is responsible for corporate development and strategy at Allscripts. In that capacity, he has driven new initiatives through acquisitions and innovations related to delivery system reform, hospital solutions, health analytics, care coordination, population health, health information exchange, post-acute care, health plan solutions, and patient/consumer engagement. During a one-year leave of absence from Allscripts, he served as Standards Coordinator for the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), setting interoperability standards now widely deployed in clinical settings in the U.S. Previously, Rich ran the IDX Flowcast Hospital business and prior to that was Vice President of Product Development for IDX Flowcast.
