Andre Hogewoning

Andre Hogewoning is an experienced mechanical professional currently serving as Shiftleader mechanics for the PLB Sand Piper at Allseas since November 2022, after having held a similar role for the TLS Pioneering Spirit from January 2006 to February 2020. In this latter role, Andre contributed to the commissioning of the Top side lifting beams and provided valuable assistance to the commissioning team. Prior experience includes positions as a Deck Mechanic, focusing on the repair and maintenance of equipment on the PLV Solitaire and pipelay-related equipment, as well as a Deck Mechanic at Fugro, servicing offshore and onshore equipment. Andre began their career as a mechanic at Dick Klok mechanisatie, specializing in welding and repairs of agricultural equipment. Andre holds a BS in Mechanical Agricultural Equipment from Apeldoorns College and a Havo diploma from RSG Helenium, with a strong foundation in various academic subjects including languages and sciences.
