Douglas Gerull

Douglas Gerull has over 30 years of work experience in the geospatial and space technology industry. Douglas began their career in 1984 as the Division Manager of Photogrammetry for Carl Zeiss in North America. In 1988, they became the Executive Vice President of Intergraph's Mapping Sciences Division. In 1992, they joined WorldView (now DigitalGlobe) as COO, EVP, and Board Member. In 2002, they were the General Manager of Benfield Blanch (now Aon Benfield) where they developed InsView, a geospatial framework for re-insurance and real-estate risk assessment. In 2008, they were the General Manager and Founder of Myriax Inc (now Echoview) where they managed the Eonfusion team. In 2012, they were the COO and Director of Surrey Satellite Technology US LLC and the Principal and Founder of Gerull Labs LLC (G-Labs). Finally, in 2016, they were the President and CEO of Pyxis Innovation (now Global Grid Systems Inc.) and in 2019, they became the CTO and SVP Strategic Partnerships of AllSource Analysis.

Douglas Gerull attended the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente, where they studied Photogrammetric Engineering.
