Daniel D Lindmark

Hardware Infrastructure Lead at AllSpice

Daniel D Lindmark has worked in the engineering and manufacturing field since 2000. Daniel D began their career as a Test Engineer at the Argonne National Laboratory in 2000, where they created and maintained fuel cell/battery test set-ups and troubleshot and repaired battery test equipment. In 2003, they joined MPC Products as an Automated Test Design Engineer, where they designed circuits for signal conditioning, isolation, filtering, and data acquisition, as well as developed software for hard real-time programming, data acquisition, digital filtering, spectrum analysis, serial data protocols, post processing, and graph/report generation. In 2006, they moved to Teradyne as a Senior Test Development Engineer, where they were the lead designer on the next-gen test platform and led a team of seven engineers to develop PCBAs and test firmware to validate and verify semiconductor test equipment. Daniel D cut design cost in half, accelerated the schedule by two quarters, and performed a proactive system audit to prevent four critical PCBA design failures, resulting in a total savings of $1.4M. In 2013, they joined MB Company as the Lead of New Product Development, providing technical co-founder level electrical engineering and manufacturing expertise for several IoT start-ups in home security, healthcare, asset tracking, MVNO, e-scooters, appliances, and games. Daniel D used lean product development and agile processes to swiftly develop minimum viable prototypes and helped the clients perform market validation and secure investor funding. Daniel D also helped clients make business strategy decisions to effectively manage their cash-flow, supply chain, and operations to responsibly build their market share by matching the production ramp-up they could afford. Most recently, in 2022, they joined AllSpice as the Hardware Infrastructure Lead, where they serve as a Customer Happiness Liaison, Community Manager, Product Manager, Product Marketing, and Lead Content Generator for AllSpice.io. Daniel D also helps design software tools like git for hardware and visual schematic and layout diffs to help electronics development.

Daniel D Lindmark attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1996-2000, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. Daniel D then returned to the same institution from 2000-2002 to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering.
