John Rubado has held a variety of positions in the technology industry. In 2016, they began their career as a Computer Lab Assistant and Computer Science Tutor at SUNY Adirondack. In 2017, they were an Intern at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company. In 2018, they returned to Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company as an Intern, where they created unit/integration tests for existing code and contributed to production level code. In 2019, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at SUNY Polytechnic - Research Foundation and as an Undergraduate Capstone - Optic Nerve Detection in Retinal Fundus Images at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Also in 2019, they worked as a Web Master at Gross Electric, Inc., where they developed and deployed a fully functional React app. Most recently, in 2020, John Rubado has been a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at Allstar, an early stage esports & gaming startup based out of New York City.
John Rubado attended SUNY Adirondack from 2015 to 2018, studying Computer Science. John then transferred to SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where they earned a Computer and Information Science Major with a Minor in Applied Mathematics, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science.
