Ben Hooper

Ben Hooper is a pioneering Senior Manager of Technology and Design, currently leading a team at Allstate that focuses on creating enterprise developer tools through user-centered design and innovative methodologies. Ben has extensive experience, having previously served as a Lead User Experience Engineer, Senior User Experience Architect, and UX Manager at Allstate, where a significant impact was made in shaping the design organization and establishing a design system. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a Visual Designer and Web Developer on a freelance basis before further developing technical skills as a Web Developer at @properties. Ben earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics from Southern Illinois University and a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University, as well as training as a LUMA Practitioner in Design Thinking.
