Ben Roberson

Ben Roberson is a Lead Data Scientist at Allstate since June 2021, specializing in full-stack data science with a focus on MLOps and transitioning products to cloud solutions. Ben manages a data science team supporting Allstate Business Insurance, engaging in initiatives such as developing pricing and underwriting models, analyzing new third-party data sources, and deploying models for point-of-sale use. Prior experience includes a Senior Data Scientist role at GEICO, where product-focused work involved pricing and customer lifetime value modeling, as well as various modeling analyst positions. Ben's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Penn State University.
