Brian Bartler is a retired Database Systems Engineer with extensive experience in mainframe databases, particularly in DB2 and IMS. They led technical initiatives at Allstate as a Technical Lead, where they directed system programmers and developed strategic road maps for database management. Previously, Brian worked as a consultant for LegaServ++, Inc. and served as a Team Lead at Jewel Food Stores, managing database systems and supporting major data center consolidations. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
