Michael Barzyk

Michael Barzyk is a senior private equity professional with over twenty years of experience in principal investing and investment banking. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director and Global Head of Private Equity at Allstate, where they manage a $6 billion private equity and infrastructure portfolio and lead investment teams in Chicago and London. Previously, Michael held multiple roles at Allstate, including Managing Principal and Senior Associate at CIVC Partners. Michael also gained diverse experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney and as Vice President at Pritzker Group. They hold an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
