Rakesh Patel

Rakesh Patel, MBA, CPCU, has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a notable tenure at Nationwide Insurance from 2005 to 2015 as a Product Manager where significant challenges in regulatory environments were addressed, particularly in North Carolina and California. Rakesh successfully spearheaded new business initiatives, generating multimillion-dollar revenues, including launching two Auto products that achieved $15M in first-year revenue. Following this, Rakesh held leadership positions at National General from 2015 to 2025, where as Sr. Product Manager, and later as Director of Product & Pricing, the Auto insurance portfolio grew by $130M, and major improvements were made to the Claims organization in California. Currently, Rakesh serves as Vice President of Products at Allstate, managing a diverse lineup of insurance products and focusing on team development and profitable growth. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Microcomputer Programming from Sardar Patel University and an MBA in Finance and Systems Analysis from IBS Hyderabad.
