Xin Yang

Xin Yang is a Senior Data Scientist at Allstate since March 2022, bringing extensive experience from the University of Alabama, where roles included Director of Analytics Consulting and Scholarship, Statistical Research Associate, and Graduate Research Assistant. In the Director role, Xin Yang led an IDA research team focused on healthcare analytics using statistical modeling. Previous experience also includes management of research and development at Nanjing Potomac Biotechnology Co., Ltd. from January 2012 to May 2013. Xin Yang holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics/Data Mining, both from the University of Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Nanjing University.
