Software Quality Assurance Specialist at Allsynx

Joseph Ngai has a diverse work experience, starting in 2004 with roles at Gallagher Bassett as a Computer Operator and later as a Production Scheduler. Joseph assisted with disaster recovery preparations, contacted partnering companies for data transfer, scheduled and monitored processing report requests. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at North Central College as a Help Desk Support, where they provided computer consulting and solved customer problems. At J. Sterling Morton High School District 201, from 2010 to 2015, they taught Algebra and trained colleagues in technology initiatives, coach mathletes, and utilized learning management software. At Tyler ISD, from 2015 to 2016, they taught Algebra and Geometry. Finally, at MGM Benefits Group, from 2017 to 2019, they held roles as a Software QA Specialist and Implementation Technician. Currently, they are employed as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist at allsynx since 2019.

Joseph Ngai has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Joseph also holds a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Concordia University Chicago, which they pursued from 2014 to 2016. In addition, they have a Secondary Certification with Middle School Endorsements in Math from North Central College, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.

Joseph Ngai has also obtained various teaching certificates. Joseph has a Texas Teaching Certificate - Secondary Math from the Texas Education Agency, which they received in March 2016. Joseph also holds an Illinois Teaching Certificate - Secondary Math from the Illinois State Board of Education, obtained in July 2013.
