Bill Smith has worked in the software engineering field since 1997. bill began their career as a Software Engineer at Acucorp and then moved to MedImpact in 2000, where they held the role of Software Engineer (Lead). In 2005, they joined Northrop Grumman as an Oracle DBA and Software Engineer. In 2009, they took on the role of Senior Consultant at Eiden Systems Corp. and then moved to ManTech in 2010 as a Principle Database Engineer. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer (Oracle DBA) at ISC before moving to General Dynamics in 2014 as a Senior Advanced Software Engineer. In 2015, they were a Software Developer at Alltech International, Inc. and in 2016 they joined Perspecta (Vencore) as a Database Engineer Technical Specialist.

Bill Smith has a Master's degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University. bill also holds certifications from Microsoft and Oracle, including Security+ (2011), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL 2016 Database Development, Oracle Certified Associate for Oracle 11g DBA, Oracle Certified Professional Oracle 11g DBA, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Data Management and Analystics.
