Richard Murphy

Richard Murphy is an accomplished Research Director at Alltech since August 1994, overseeing a multidisciplinary Agribiotech research team that focuses on various fields including assay development, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, microbiology, and biochemistry, while also driving global research and innovation strategies. In addition, Richard serves as a Senior Research Scientist at University College Dublin and holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at Dublin City University since September 2015. Richard's academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Galway and a BSc Hons in Biochemistry from NUI Galway, complemented by a National Diploma in Industrial Biology from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, and a Certificate in Quality Assurance from City and Guilds of London.
