Saloni Patel

Saloni Patel is a dedicated Process Engineer currently employed at Alltech since June 2025, where responsibilities include optimizing manufacturing processes and developing new techniques while collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient operations. Prior to this role, Saloni gained valuable experience as an Engineering Intern at Washington Penn in the summer of 2024 and as an NSF-REU Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Kentucky, contributing to a project focused on the separation of biomolecules using titania-coated membranes. Additionally, Saloni served as a Peer Mentor in the Engineering Living Learning Program, assisting incoming engineering freshmen with their transition and campus engagement. Saloni is pursuing education at the University of Kentucky from 2021 to 2025.
