Scott Nielsen

Scott Nielsen serves as the Chief Talent Officer at Alltech, Inc., where Scott leads a global human capital function to enhance business capabilities. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Human Resources at Blackhawk Mining, where Scott transformed the HR function during a period of growth; Director of Human Resources/CHRO at Big Ass Fans; and Senior Human Capital Consultant at Hanna Resource Group, where Scott engaged in various HR projects. Additionally, Scott held the position of President at Nielsen Advisors, assisting small- and medium-sized businesses with HR challenges, and served as Director of Human Resources at Hewlett-Packard. Scott's career began at Shell Oil Company, progressing from an HR Analyst to Senior HR Business Partner. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Purdue Global and a Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, along with a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Brigham Young University.
