Tara McCarthy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the food and seafood sectors. Currently serving as Global Vice President of ESG at Alltech since June 2022, Tara previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board from January 2017 to June 2022. Prior to this, Tara was CEO of Bord Iascaigh Mhara - Ireland's Seafood Development Agency from August 2015 to January 2017 and worked as Director of the Food & Beverage Division at Bord Bia from 2007 to August 2015. Tara McCarthy holds a Master of Business Studies in Marketing from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Galway.
