Gary Bailey has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a current role as Director Network System Performance at Verizon since April 2018. Previously, Gary held the position of Director of Operations at Verizon Wireless from January 2009. Gary's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Operations for the Southwest region at Alltel Communications from 2006 to 2009, and as a Staff Manager RF at Alltel from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, Gary worked at Bell Atlantic Mobile from May 1994 to January 2000, progressing through roles such as Engineering Intern and RF Engineering/System Performance Manager. Gary earned a degree from Arizona State University between 1985 and 1993.

(NASDAQ: ATNI), a Massachusetts based telecommunications company operating advanced wireless, wireline, and both terrestrial and submarine fiber optic networks in North America and the Caribbean. AWCC was formed in connection with ATN's agreement to purchase wireless properties, licenses and network assets from Verizon Wireless in early 2010. Verizon was required by the Federal Communications Commission to sell these coverage areas.
