Derrick Whiting

Derrick Whiting has worked for five different companies since 2003. In 2003, they began working for JB Hunt Transport Services, Inc. as an Operations Supervisor. From 2006 to 2010, they worked for First Bank & Trust OK as a Trust Investment Officer. From 2010 to 2016, they worked for Schneider National in three different roles: Regional Sales Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Engineer. From 2016 to 2018, they worked for General Motors as a Software Developer. Since 2018, they have been CTO and Co-Founder of Allucent.

Derrick Whiting attended Brigham Young University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Business Management with a focus in Finance. Derrick then returned to Brigham Young University from 2012 to 2014, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). In 2015 and 2016, they attended Devpoint Labs to become an immersive full stack web developer, specializing in Ruby on Rails. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications, one from Code School in 2016 for Rails for Zombies Redux, and another from Code School with an unknown obtained date for Rails for Zombies Redux.
