Daniel Eller

Head of Deposits, Sales & Onboarding at Ally

Daniel Eller was named Head of Deposits, Sales & Onboarding in September 2025. In this role, he is responsible for pricing strategy and managing the full product lifecycle, customer journey, P&L and value streams for Ally’s deposits business.

Prior to this role, Eller served as the President of Insurance, where he grew Ally’s relationships with dealers while optimizing and expanding insurance operations. Under his leadership, written insurance premiums reached the highest level since Ally became a public company.

Eller also served as the executive director of Investor Relations, where he led a team that earned distinction as the No. 1 investor relations program in consumer financial services by Institutional Investor. In his 15+ years with Ally, he has held several leadership roles within the CFO Group, including balance sheet management, enterprise financial planning and analysis. Eller started his career at Banc of America Securities.

Eller earned his MBA from Queens University of Charlotte and his bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University. He is a board member of the McColl School of Business alumni organization at Queens University.
