Jamie Pons

Jamie Pons is a risk and compliance leader with over 18 years of experience in public accounting, risk management, and compliance, holding CA(SA) and CISA certifications. Jamie began their career as a consultant at PwC South Africa, where they completed audit training and led statutory audits. They then advanced to a director role at PwC, managing significant audit assignments and advising C-level leaders on compliance and internal control frameworks. Currently, Jamie serves as the Director of Accounting IT - Risk and Compliance at Ally, where they continue to drive business success through risk mitigation and innovation. Jamie earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours in Accounting from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
