Kip Cotter is a results-driven tax professional with over twenty years of progressive experience in the taxation of multinational corporations, combining industry and public accounting expertise. Currently serving as Executive Director of Global Tax Accounting at Ally Financial Inc., Kip is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting for income taxes and managing tax risk across the company's worldwide operations. Formerly, Kip held senior roles at Ford Motor Company, Deloitte & Touche, and DaimlerChrysler, demonstrating a strong proficiency in ASC 740 and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Kip holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from Walsh College and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
