Walter Young

Walter Young has a diverse professional background that includes roles in education, finance, and auditing. Early experience at DePaul University includes serving as a Math Tutor through the Office of Multicultural Student Success and working as a Desk Receptionist within Housing Services, where responsibilities included maintaining security and assisting residents. Young participated in the CIRRUS Scholars Program, conducting research on phytoremediation, and later mentored students in underprivileged communities. Following academic achievements with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master’s in Accounting from The George Washington University, Young held various roles, including Lead Auditor at Ally and Audit Associate with PwC. Additional experience includes positions as a Match Tutor Fellow at The University of Chicago Urban Education Institute and Laboratory Technician at The Woodbridge Group.
