Erik Perkins

Erik Perkins has several years of work experience in the field of IT and project management. Erik started their career in 2011 at Century Link as an Engineering Assistant, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets and reports for the company's "Joint use Pole Program" in the Greater Seattle Area. Erik also coordinated with stakeholders and hosted conference calls with upper management to report and discuss program status.

In 2016, Erik joined Global Telecom Engineering & Construction, LLC. gTEC, where they worked as an Engineer 1, Construction Project Administrator, and eventually as a Project Manager. During their time there, they gained experience in various aspects of project management and construction.

In 2018, Erik joined Allytics as an IT Support Analyst, and later transitioned into the role of IT Systems Administrator in 2019.

Erik Perkins has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology and Administrative Management, with a field of study in IT and Management, which they obtained from Central Washington University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Highline College in 2008.

In terms of certifications, Erik has completed several courses and programs. In 2018, they obtained the Google IT Support Professional Certificate, the Google IT Support Professional Certificate Specialization, and the IT Security: Defense against the digital dark arts certification, all from Coursera. Additionally, they completed the System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services course, the Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User course, the The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking course, and the Technical Support Fundamentals course, all through Coursera in 2018. Furthermore, in 2017, they completed the AutoCAD 2017 Essential Training certification from Lynda.com.

In 2019, Erik further enhanced their skills by obtaining a User Experience (UX) Design Certificate from Bellevue College. Lastly, in 2020, they completed the Crash Course on Python certification from Coursera.
