Steve Lash is an experienced journalist and editor with a focus on legal reporting. Currently serving as an Editor at ALM since April 2023, Lash previously worked as a Reporter at The Maryland Daily Record from February 2008 to April 2023, covering the Maryland Court of Appeals and judiciary committees. Additionally, Lash has lectured on media law at Loyola University Maryland and the University of Maryland. Past roles include Washington Correspondent for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and freelance Supreme Court Reporter for Cox Newspapers and West's Legal News. Lash holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.
