John Petrie has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various managerial roles. John started their career in 2000 as a Project Manager at Maritime Montering AS, where they worked until 2006. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Projects Director at OP Marine Ltd. In 2010, they joined KAEFER International Offshore Ltd as a Contracts Manager, and they held this position until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Project Manager at Harlen Ltd. 2014 onwards, they joined Harris Pye Engineering and held multiple roles including Technical Manager Outfitting and Project Manager. Currently, since December 2019, they are the Vice President of the Modernization Division at ALMACO Group.

John Petrie attended Gothenburg Technical College from 1990 to 1993. During this time, they studied design & construction.
