Eddie Wu

Eddie Wu is the current head of engineering at Almanac. Prior to their current role, they served as the director of product at Aura from June 2015 to September 2019. In that role, they were responsible for the product team, API development, partner/vendor integrations, and machine learning and OCR automation opportunities. Eddie was also responsible for the loan acquisitions/loan & payments P&L performance, technical stack scalability & resilience, product team efficiency, CSAT/NPS, and external partner platform satisfaction and enterprise technology support.

Wu's early years were focused on scaling & refining the proof of concept product into a sustainable enterprise platform that directly addresses partner & customer need. Eddie began their career in 2009 as an analyst at Capital One before moving into a product / business manager role. In their time at Capital One, they were responsible for the development and launch of new products, features, and services. Eddie also oversaw the management of existing products and services and was responsible for churn reduction and customer satisfaction.

Eddie Wu graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S./B.A. in Business Administration and Chemistry.
