Michael Bastholt

Michael Bastholt is a Partner and the COO of Almaz Capital. Michael is responsible for all operational aspects of the firm, as well as investor relations.

Michael joined Almaz Capital in 2019 but has been involved with Almaz Capital since its inception in 2008 as a Limited Partner. Michael is a seasoned investor within the alternative asset class. Prior to joining Almaz Capital, he spent more than 13 years as an institutional Limited Partner focused primarily on investments in Venture Capital and Private Equity funds. During this time, Michael served on numerous Investment Committees and Advisory Boards of a broad range of fund managers ranging from early-stage VCs to Private Equity GPs.

A Danish national, Michael graduated from Copenhagen Business School.
