Craig Schmidt

Craig Schmidt currently serves as Engineering Manager at Almco, where responsibilities include overseeing a skilled engineering team and focusing on research and development to innovate and expand product lines in the finishing industry. Prior to this role, Craig held various positions at Lou-Rich, including Program Manager and Project Engineer, managing programs and coordinating interdepartmental functions to ensure adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets. Additionally, Craig has experience as a mentor in the Minnesota Youth Apprenticeship Program and previously coached junior high football at Albert Lea Area Schools. Academically, Craig holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and has pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Riverland Community College.
