Adel Khalil

Adel Khalil currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at almentor since January 2023 and holds the position of Chairman of the Board for the Software Group at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce starting July 2024, where advocacy for the software industry in Dubai is a primary focus. Previously, Adel was the VP of Engineering at Talabat from January 2019 to December 2022, contributing to the growth of one of the largest food delivery platforms in the GCC region. With a solid foundation in technology leadership, Adel was a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Vezeeta.com, the leading digital healthcare booking platform in MENA, and has held various engineering roles at companies including Shindigg.com, Global Consulting Solutions, SummitQwest, and DefendX Software. Adel holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering and has furthered education at Stanford University, focusing on scaling fast-growth companies in global markets.
