Steve Balcom

Steve Balcom has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of behavioral health program management and mental health services. Steve joined AlohaCare in 2018 as a Behavioral Health Program Manager. Prior to that, they worked at the State of Hawaii, Adult Mental Health Division, where they held two roles. From 2017, they served as a Forensic Program Development Specialist, and from 2017, they also served as a Performance Improvement Coordinator (Acting). Steve has also contributed to the State of Hawaii, Dept. of Health as Crisis and Residential Treatment Services Director since 2006. Their early career includes a role as the Specialized Community Response Services Director at Kitsap Mental Health Services from 2000 to 2003.
