Kym Gilbert

Kym Gilbert is currently the Regional Head of Service at ALONE, a position held since 2025. Kym has a strong educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts from Technological University Dublin and an MSc in Food Security Policy and Management from University College Cork. Previously, Kym held various roles in the culinary field, including Senior Chef at The Pigeon House Cafe and Sous Chef at The Brown Bear, Two Mile House, where they navigated challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Kym also served as Operations Manager at the Health Service Executive, demonstrating leadership in diverse settings and a keen interest in business sustainability within the food industry.
