Monty Schmidt

Monty Schmidt has extensive experience in various technology leadership roles. Monty is currently serving as the CTO at Alotten Inc. starting from April 2022. Prior to this, from November 2021 to March 2022, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Infosec. Monty also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Welbi from July 2021 to November 2021, and before that, they were a Technical Advisor at Welbi from November 2020 to November 2021. Monty also served as the Chief Architect at Welbi from January 2020 to November 2020.

Before joining Welbi, Monty worked as the CTO at InHub from January 2017 to January 2020. Monty was a Partner at mfotek from October 2016 to January 2020. Prior to that, they founded wuntusk in 2011 and served as its Founder until January 2017.

Monty's early career includes serving as the CTO at Sonic Foundry from May 1991 to March 2011, and as a Design Engineer at Berg Liquor Systems in 1988.

Monty Schmidt attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
