ALotusInTheMud.com is a new wellness and spirituality web magazine. Arising from muddy water, the Lotus flower is a powerful symbol across cultures of beauty, pristine radiance, and resilience. The expression  ‘Lotus in the mud’ signifies that we may get caught up in problems and suffer as a result, but we have the inherent capability to emerge to full bloom Lotus state in body, mind, and spirit. ALotusInTheMud.com nudges you towards that state with content curated from both ancient wisdom and cutting-edge science. Not aligned to any religion or political ideology, we are always positive, edifying, and motivational. The greater good we seek is to foster harmony and peace in the world.
The Lotus magazine is helmed by Parveen Chopra, a media professional of over three decades standing who has specialized in wellness and spirituality. A trained teacher of meditation, he had earlier founded  Life Positive, India’s first body-mind-spirit magazine  from New Delhi, India. Moving to the US, he edited The South Asian Times for over a decade and One World Under God interfaith journal. He is growing his Lotus team in the US and India.
