Alpamayo is a Swiss engineering firm that designs and builds smart factories and fleets of connected smart products. The work covers the full stack: machine data acquisition, edge infrastructure, OT-security, and the operational interfaces and AI-ready analytics that sit on top. Three Alpamayo engineers can take a project as far in weeks as larger integrators take in quarters, because of PREKIT, an open data platform Alpamayo built specifically to take cost and timeline out of these projects. By design, the data foundation it introduces belongs to the customer, with no lock-in to Alpamayo or to the MES or ERP vendor that would otherwise inherit the integrations by default. 18+ installations delivered across 11 countries.

What that looks like in production is publicly inspectable at the virtual chocolate factory at alpamayo-chocolate.com.
