Isabel Poppek

Isabel Poppek has held a variety of roles in the technology and finance industries. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of Alpas AI, a global sourcing intelligence platform for mid and large-cap companies. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Private Equity Investment Analyst at LGT Capital Partners, a leading alternative investment specialist. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at the Center for Digital Technology and Management in product and business development. In 2015, they completed thesis work at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. In 2014, they were a Private Equity Investment Intern at Paragon Partners. In 2013, they were an intern at Porsche Asia Pacific and at the RENK Group in corporate strategy and M&A.

Isabel Poppek has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich, an Honours Degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich. Isabel also has taken MBA courses at Columbia University as a Visiting Researcher, and was part of the W21 batch at Y Combinator. In addition, they obtained a certification from the CFA Institute in January 2019 for passing CFA Level I.
