Alexis Mata

Alexis Mata is a senior Accounting and Finance student minoring in Public Policy at UIC. Currently, they serve as the President of the UIC chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, leading over 130 members and fostering professional development. As a Lead Mentor for the Hispanic Federation's CREAR Futuros program, Alexis supports more than 50 mentees through mentorship and community organizing. They have gained practical experience through internships at Deloitte, Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation, and participated in research as a Urban Public Policy Research Fellow. Alexis is set to begin a role as a Government Public Services Consulting Analyst at Deloitte.
