Bart van Gestel

Bart Van Gestel has extensive experience in engineering and journalism. Currently working as a CAD Engineer at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions since August 2000, Bart also contributes as a bijdragend redacteur for the rock and metal webzine amped-up.be since June 2016. Previously, Bart served as a Freelance Reporter for Ashladan.be from September 2012 to May 2016, covering news, live reports, interviews, and reviews in the metal music scene. Bart's earlier experience includes roles as a Personal Computer repair technician at Diamond Computer NV, an electrical cabinet production operator at ARODO, and a machine operator at Verlipack. Bart holds an A2 degree in Electrotechnieken from Sint Clara College, completed in 1996.
