Thomas Zekios

Thomas Zekios is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and audit roles. Currently serving as the Group Consolidation Manager for Financial Accounting at Alpha Bank since July 2023, Thomas previously held the position of Financial Advisor in the Group Finance Division at the National Bank of Greece from September 2014 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as an Audit Supervisor for the Financial Services Industry at Deloitte. Hadjipavlou Sofianos & Cambanis SA, where responsibilities included auditing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP, as well as ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In the formative years of a career, Thomas worked as an Assistant Accountant at Katsis S. & Sia Ltd. Thomas holds a Qualified Greek Professional Qualification for Certified Public Auditors from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece and a Master of Science in Applied Accounting and Auditing from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants - University of Athens, along with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
