Alpha Comics is a new-age Indian comics and storytelling studio dedicated to building original narrative universes rooted in Indian culture and global storytelling aesthetics. Since its first release in November 2023, the studio has rapidly emerged as a high-productivity IP house, developing diverse characters, multi-genre series, and scalable story worlds designed for cross-media expansion.

Founded by Vasu Gupta, Alpha Comics operates with a clear vision — to create original Indian superheroes, revive comics culture among young readers, and transform culturally rooted stories into globally relevant entertainment properties spanning comics, animation, gaming, and immersive media.

Working under the mentorship of Mr. Sanjay Gupta — Creator of Nagraj, Doga, Bhokal, Bhediya, Parmanu, and many more Indian superheroes and co-founder of Raj Comics — the studio bridges India’s legendary comics legacy with a modern, franchise-driven creative model. This mentorship brings deep expertise in long-running character development, serialized storytelling, and mass readership engagement.

In a short span, Alpha Comics has produced 2,200+ pages of original sequential artwork and built a catalogue of 48+ story editions across superheroes, mythology, kids’ adventures, sci-fi, manga-inspired titles, and graphic novels. With a 50+ member creative ecosystem spanning writers, artists, designers, and production specialists, the studio functions as a full-fledged content pipeline capable of parallel IP development.

Recognised at national platforms including FICCI BAF Awards and IndiaJoy Comic Street Awards, Alpha Comics continues to expand its presence across Comic Con India, book fairs, and major creative festivals.

With 40+ fresh IPs in development, international artist collaborations, and inter-industry crossovers in animation, gaming, and ed-tech, Alpha Comics is on a mission to become India’s leading IP engine — creating story universes that resonate locally and scale globally.
