Sharon Raphael

Sharon Raphael is a mission-driven, visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and government sectors. Currently, they serve as the Director of Cultural Equity and Grants Administrator for Arlington County, where they manage grant initiatives focused on community and professional arts organizations. Sharon is also the immediate past National President of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority, advocating for the welfare of Jewish women in higher education. They have a diverse background in event planning, having held positions that include Director of Meetings and Events for Arlington Economic Development and Director of Special Events at Artisphere. Sharon earned a BA in Psychology from The American University and is currently pursuing a certificate in event management from The George Washington University.
