Matthew Schwall is currently the Director of Regulatory Affairs at AlphaGen, a role they began in 2024. Previously, Matthew held the same title at Eastern Generation from 2021 to the time of their transition. They have also served as the Director of Market Policy & Regulatory Affairs at the Independent Power Producers of New York, Inc. from 2016 to 2021, and as the Director of Constituent Services for NYS Assemblymember Michael J. Cusick from 2012 to 2013. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a Master of Science in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado Denver Business School.
